This week, we’re sharing some key updates, including improvements to MAP pricing turnaround time, ongoing search engine development, and an upcoming Coreware Discord server to help our users stay connected and informed.
Here’s what’s new and what’s coming next.
One issue that has been affecting MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) updates was recently addressed. Previously, the MAP sync process from BFG was only happening once per night, which was not intended behavior—it was a bug. This delay meant that pricing updates weren’t being processed as quickly as they should have been.
The issue with MAP not getting updated from BFG in a timely manner has been fixed.
Now, when BFG sends a MAP update, it updates the Coreware Catalog instantly.
All other retailers receive that update through a process that runs once every hour instead of just once per night.
While this improvement means faster pricing updates, users should still verify that MAP pricing updates are processed correctly. If there are any discrepancies, retailers may need to reach out to the manufacturer to ensure that correct pricing is being provided.
This fix ensures that MAP pricing changes are reflected more efficiently across all stores, reducing the risk of out-of-date pricing and compliance concerns.
We’re always working to improve overall site speed and system performance. While there haven’t been any drastic changes in this latest update, there have been minor optimizations aimed at making Coreware solutions run more smoothly.
We know that even small performance gains can add up, so we continue to look for ways to make sure pages load quickly, transactions process efficiently, and your system remains fast and reliable.
Search functionality is a major focus for us, and we’re currently developing a new and improved search engine that aims to deliver faster, more accurate search results across product catalogs.
A new search system is being tested internally.
The goal is to provide better, more relevant search results for users.
This new search engine will NOT replace the existing system yet—it will be available for testing purposes on a separate page.
This alternative search engine will be available on a separate testing page, allowing us to gather feedback before fully rolling it out. Our goal is to ensure that when we do launch it platform-wide, it’s the best possible search experience for retailers and customers alike.
For now, the testing phase is internal, but once we’ve refined it further, we’ll provide more details on the rollout.
We’re working on creating a Coreware Community Discord Server, a space where users can connect, share best practices, and discuss system updates outside of traditional support channels.
